"Simplify" - A beautiful book

This is a beautiful book which I have downloaded as an e-book with some 

gorgeous goodies to make. 

Of course I plan to make them all after finishing everything else on my "to do list"!!!  

This book is written by Camille Roskelley and is full of fun projects using pre-cut jelly 

rolls, fat quarters and more.

Having Time Out - Manly Beach

After many weekends of rain in Sydney and not being able to get out due to being struck down with a virus, we finally managed to go out today - we went to Manly, of course by bus!! - the Australian Open Surf Carnival was on and I think everyone else had the same idea to get out and about!

Just a couple of pics for you - some of you may have travelled to Manly over the years, so I hope this brings back some memories for you.

SKoW - Back on Track

Dear SKoW friends . . . just wanted to let you know I am still around, I came to a grinding halt due to a very persistent virus which has hit me now three times and I am really over it!! Dr. finally gave me much stronger antibiotics, so hopefully back on the mend.

I have been keeping up to date with all of your posts and I think by the looks of it we are all really enjoying this wonderful project!  Everyone is putting their own special touches to each panel - well done.

I am including a pic of some of my completed blocks - I had been enjoying the needle turn until the virus, so back on track hopefully this weekend.
