Into the sewing room . . .

Well it wasn't until about two hours ago that I finally made it into the sewing room . . . I unpacked shelves and sorted out fabrics (WOW how much fabric do I have!!!, but I just love it all) . . .

Got around to preparing another block (pinned at least) for the SKOW .  . so so far behind in this that it's not funny. I think when I first started out with the SKOW, I thought I could achieve the deadlines, but what happened in the interim were all of these other sewing projects and other happenings in my life and it fell off the wagon!  On reflection I don't think I would have done needle-turn, so for the next few blocks I will be doing blanket stitch. I try and make the needle-turn perfect and I get frustrated with it if it doesn't look just right.  Enough of my ramblings . . .

Also, talking about fabrics, I just couldn't resist these few pieces whilst at the store this morning - did I tell you I am addicted!!!  I have had these Amy Butler jelly rolls hanging around and I think it will look great made up into the Sue Daley clamshell sewing keep.

And then I found these fabrics for a strip quilt . . .
